The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed.
​
If you own, manage or operate a business, you need to comply with fire safety law. The main law is the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 or "the Fire Safety Order". Employers must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety of employees in respect of harm caused by fire in the workplace.

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 lays down wide-ranging duties on employers. Employers must protect the 'health, safety and welfare' at work of all their employees, as well as others on their premises, including temps, casual workers, the self-employed, clients, visitors and the general public.

First Aid At Work
The training course focuses on a core set of emergency lifesaving skills that can be applied across any working environment. Many of these are practical in nature - whereby an instructor will demonstrate and allow time for hands on practice.
Candidates also learn about their responsibilities as a first aider. What to do when at the scene, what information to give to the emergency services and how to report after an accident.

Paediatric First Aid
This comprehensive course is presented at your nursery, school, home or place of work over Two Days of your choosing. The result is a memorable and engaging course that provides learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to act effectively when paediatric emergencies arise. The course meets all OFSTED/EYFS requirements.

Forest School First Aid training covers practical skills needed by those who work with children, providing the confidence and knowledge to deal with comprehensive life-saving first aid emergencies in the outdoor environment, including first aid for adult helpers.

Our specialist First Aid team offers a variety of courses in Outdoor first aid, Forestry +F, First Aid in Sports and Activity First Aid.

Our Outdoor First Aid courses offer a scenario lead interactive course that will cover all you need for the outdoor environment. These courses are best suited for people working in an area where emergency help is more than 30mins away. Each course will be tailored to your own industry with all course content and scenarios relating to the types of incidents you will face.

Changes to Forestry Commission policy recommends those who work in the forestry industry should attend first aid training that covers additional topics relevant to the risk associated with their work.

Our Ofsted compliant first aid courses for both Primary and Secondary school children are a fun and fully interactive learning experience children of all ages will enjoy. In our Key Stage 4 course all students will receive their Emergency First Aid at Work qualification which will help them as they move into employment.

The Workplace Mental Health First Aider qualification will teach you to be able to recognise the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and know how to effectively guide a person towards the right mental health support.
Our Youth Mental Health First Aider is ideal for people working with children to help recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health in youths and how to guide them to the right support.

We offer a complete in-depth Fire Warden/Marshal training course that will equip you with all the knowledge you need to become a fully trained Fire Warden or Fire Marshal. We offer courses in Fire Evacuation Chairs and Fire Extinguishers. Our training will help you work towards compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005 and other current legislation.

Health and Safety
A thorough understanding of health and safety is essential in all workplaces, regardless of job role and industry. This accredited Level 2 Health and Safety course ensures that you understand the most common health and safety risks in your workplace and the control measures that are needed to keep you safe.
The course covers the most crucial aspects of health and safety that are present in every workplace, such as manual handling, working at height, and fire and electrical safety. It also explains the necessary components of workplace welfare, including workplace stress and conflict

Event First Aid Cover
Our experienced First Aiders and Trauma Carers are trained to handle any medical emergency, we accommodate one-off or recurring events of all sizes, seven days a week. For example, festivals, firework displays, trade shows, and sporting events.
Our first aid event cover is typically priced per hour/per volunteer. We determine the number of First Aiders required during the booking process, depending on risk-level and event size.
